Day 2- Garden City Kansas

Good day to be on a Honda... but then, every day is a great day for a ride. We saw some really nice country on our way to Garden City. We left a flooding Wichita Falls and got away from there without getting wet. By noon we were in the beautiful sunshine.







This station is in Shamrock Texas. It was the inspiration for the station in Disney's movie Cars.










We stopped in a nice picnic area for a lunch break. The sun was heating things up a little for us by this time.













The flowers around the picnic site were pretty.





A stop at the Oklahoma Kansas State line.




We cooled off in the pool at the hotel in Garden City before going to dinner.

Somebody needs to tell Mike and Robin that they do not need to call each other on their cell phones since they are on the same bike. ha
