Wing Ding Day 5

The Monument on the crest of the ridge is a grave stone for some of those buried in a mass grave. The other head stones in the fence are where the fallen soldiers of Custer's 7th Calvary were originally buried.

This marker is for Lt Col George A Custer. He was moved to West Point later. There were civilians and Indian Scouts also killed in this battle.

This was one of two markers for fallen Indian warriors across the ridge from where the 7th Calvary was defeated.

Looking down the ridge across the "Last Stand" site and the National Cemetary in this park.

Here are the lovely ladies of our group after arriving in Billings. The goal was safely reached and we all had a great time in doing it.

Here is our Dolly Parton impersonator. She really put on a good show.
